If there was any evidence for this at all, Republicans have controlled Congress for about 8 years and could have investigated, subpoenaed and charged people for real. But all their investigations ended up with nothing, yet they still peddle their stories on Fox “News” and Daily Caller and other nutjob conspiracy sites.
I just got the ebook and skimmed through it. Found the title and description and cover are totally misleading: it’s just a collection of anecdotes about small scale corruption in govt. No evidence of an organised conspiracy, certainly nothing that even implicates Clinton or Obama, despite putting him in the title.
This book is a waste of time, even if you are inclined to believe in the “Deep State” boogeyman.

Not really a Chaffetz fan but having skimmed though this in ebook format am thinking a lot of it matches with what I have read elsewhere.
Yes there is a Deep State but how it is recognized and how it is corrected is quite complex. A lot of the problem is that past administrations have abdicated their responsibities and handed power to organizations that should not have that power. We don’t really want more oversight committees but we also don’t want to foster a Reds Under The Bed type mentality either.
